Pedriatrics

The osteopathic treatments are performed from the first day of life.

Childbirdth is a traumatic event, both for the mother and for the baby, and its consequences can extend up to old age.

Osteopathy can recognize the dysfunction, not necessarily pathological, and treat them in order to prevent future problems such as scoliosis, sleeping disorders, deglutition disorders, dental problems or gait dysfunctions.

The pediatric approach is very different from that one used for adult. The techniques are delicate and suitable for all the child’s growth phases.

Although the approach is less invasive, it is able to drive the process of child self-healing also due to its greater plasticity.

The skull, in fact, thanks to the typical fontanels is able to adapt to external input and change its shape. The treatment before closing the last fontanel (15-18 months) is effective in the correction of positional plagiocephaly which could lead to distort the face profile, mastication and even the eyesight, as well as alteration of the cervical spine resulting in scoliosis.

Osteopathy can help even during colic, asthma or recurrent ear infections, improving drainage and preventing relapses.
